New Lens! ♥

Old Lens

This was my old lens (clearly, I mean look at the dust on that thing) the 18-55mm 3.5 - 5.6 standard lens that I got with the camera (Canon 550D) and now that I've been paid I decided to buy a 50mm 1.8 lens and I am so excited. I will finally get the quality of pictures that I've been wanting from this camera that I have. The old one still took good pictures but the new one takes even better pictures because of it's lower f stop or larger aperture. I won't go into now and I'm no expert either but you can always research into it by searching it on google. I'm still trying to figure out how to use it - hence the blurriness of these pictures and the pictures that will come in the next blog post. Sorry!

New Lens

I bought this on ebay for about £75 and it is completely worth the purchase. This lens is called a prime lens which means it does not zoom in and out like the previous lens I used to use. There are articles out there as to why you should buy prime lenses but my main reason will be this:

Great quality at a cheaper cost

My blog posts after this one will be taken with this prime lens only unless stated because this lens is epic.
